FCBS - 4 The Birds

Mission Statement
We are a 501c3 organization that works with local avian specialists, veterinarians and volunteers whose purpose is to address all aspects of homeless birds in crisis and give guidance to pet owners on behavioral issues of birds in captivity.

Our goal is to promote high standards of avian care by educating the public through educational seminars, written, web based materials and one on one guidance on the humane treatment and welfare of birds in the United States and abroad.

"This world usually offers little demand on owners of animals, with few repercussions for their actions when abuse is involved. Humans are directly responsible for any credit or blame for the quality of a domestic animals life as a pet. Our responsibility is to persuade the public how we are absolutely their only chance for survival, and every action we take toward that step to raise their level of importance in how we treat them, and lead by example, offering a solid description of what the minimum standard of care that is acceptable. The future of many species depends on their very life or death always."
